Before you start searching for the Pack-a-Punch machine, you need to turn on the electricity. You have to enter the bunker and it can only be opened after activating the electricity.
Once you’ve activated the electricity generator, simply turn back around and open the door to the sewers for 1,250 shocks, which will initially block your way opposite the lightning station.
Down here, you’ll see the “Pack-a-Punch” machine in the middle of the room. The problem: A huge cage denies you access. In order to free “Pack a Punch”, you first have to activate the switch opposite the weapons cabinet on the wall, where you can buy an MP 40. This switch activates the three disposal tubes, which you have to find afterwards.
Find the disposal tubes and activate Pack-a-Punch
The order in which you slide through the disposal tubes is up to you. The main thing is to always press the switch after the short slide, which can always be found a few steps in front of you on the right. To activate Pack-a-Punch, look for the three targets here, which require 250 shocks each:
Enter the bunker and look for the first disposal tube in the eastern part of the command room. Go up the first stairs before you see the target already on the right.
Run back to the command room and turn left immediately. Here you will open the door to the labs for 1,500 shocks. Follow the path, pass the locked door and then immediately turn left. The round passage on the left will lead you directly to the second disposal tube.
For the third and final disposal tube, head back to the spawn at the village entrance where you will open the door to the pub for 1,500 shocks. Follow the path until a second gate blocks your way. For 1,500 more shocks, pave your way to the tower, where you’ll find the disposal tube at the far left of the area.
Important: Don’t forget to flip the switches after you slide through the disposal tubes, otherwise the cage around Pack-a-Punch won’t lift. We can’t mention this often enough.
Also, at the last switch, lots of hungry zombies rise from the ground. You need to be well equipped for this, otherwise you will be quickly overrun. If necessary, you can also leave the sewer for the time being, so that you have more space for the fight against the undead.
If you want to improve your weapons, you’ll have to pay 5,000 shocks. In return, your gun will get a special camouflage and you will deal out much more damage. You should find and activate Pack-a-Punch from wave 10 at the latest. If you pay 4,000 more shocks at the upgrade machine, you can increase the ammunition of your improved weapon.
When you arrive at the village square, keep to the right to turn on the first gas wheel. There are three gas wheels in total, which light up the pilot light you can see in the picture. Behind the light you can already see your first main task, the bunker door, which has to be opened. From the pilot light you can follow the gas pipes to the other two valves. The second one is behind the door, as you can see in the picture. To continue after that, you now have to open the gate for 1,000 shocks. At the end of the street you will find the beer garden on the left and the last valve. But be careful: Sometimes zombies attack you from the window next to the valves!
Inside the bunker you will reach a large command center. On the left and right there are doors that you have to open with 1,500 shocks each. In the middle is the door to the salt mine, which is the next task to open. To do this, you’ll have to activate two switches behind the left and right doors under time pressure.
At the right door you have to keep to the right after entering and after a short time you will reach this device.
Turn it on and run through the opposite door in the command center.
Here the switch is hidden a bit trickier. After the circular corridor with the corpses, go down the left staircase. In this area you will also find the skill machine for “Faster Reloading”. At the top of the stairs you can already see the second switch in the left room.
Now go back to the salt mine door. In front of the door is a flap, which you should unscrew in a quiet moment. Now open the salt mine door for 1,350 shocks and you have completed the third task.
On the way into the depths you will meet some funny fellows with bombs on their backs. With a well-placed hit, they explode and take their colleagues down with them. Once you’ve defeated them, continue down and you’ll reach the emperor’s chamber. In the middle of this impressive room hovers a sword hilt, which you have to activate. A red circle will appear around the hilt. Within this radius, you’ll have to defeat a certain number of zombies to activate the Spirit Lightning energy. Get used to it, you will have to do this task more often.
The energy transporter will now be transported to the command center, provided you have cranked open the hole beforehand. Now turn on the device using the button on the control panel in the middle of the command room. Now you have to fill the transporter with souls by defeating many zombies in the red circle again. After a while you will reach a strange machine, which with a lot of rumbling will produce the first component of a special weapon. Collect it and run back to the command center.
The transporter continues its way on the opposite side. So complete the same game again: shoot the zombies, fill the soul tank and collect the component at the end. Now return to the command center and run back under the clear night sky. In the command center appears the burner, a very dangerous enemy with a flamethrower. Fight him on the surface, where you can better dodge and use your special abilities, because it’s not good to eat with this nasty guy. After he’s done, he literally loses his head. Remember where the skull is, you’ll need it again later.
Now put the weapon parts into the device on the gallery of the command center. You will then receive the Tesla Cannon, a truly electrifying weapon.
Your next task is to activate the two hands of God. Examine the right hand in the emperor’s chamber and go back to the command center. In the back area you will find a control panel that needs to be activated. A random, four-digit color sequence will now appear here. You have to set four switches, which are distributed on the map, to the correct color. You know the correct color for the corresponding switch thanks to the number, which can be seen above the color and can also be found on the switches. The first switch is nicely placed right next to it on the wall.
Turn around and run into the passage on your left, where you got the second component earlier. At this point you’ll need a lot of shocks, as there are some locked gates along the way. Run deeper and deeper down the passage until you reach a locked door. Open it and keep left until you come to a room full of blood. Here you’ll find the second switch, in our example we’ll set it to the color red, since the number on the switch corresponds to the template from just now.
Cross the blood room diagonally and open the next gate. Behind it is the third switch. Set the switch to the right color. Now go through the door to the surface.
Now run towards the third gas valve and open the door on the right. On the second floor of the destroyed building you will find the very important ” Increased Shot Damage Automaton”. When you exit the building, you will see the last switch on the right side. Hooray, the task is done!
Next, open the door next to the switch and follow the path to the dead end. There are now three levers in front of you. Flip the first lever in the middle and defend it from attackers for a while. Most of the time, the zombies will pounce on the lever itself, but some will attack you as well. After the first lever, you have to activate the two levers on the left and right and defend them at the same time. Once this is also done, run back to the emperor’s chamber and turn on the right hand of God. The first step is done.
Suddenly you hear a commotion on the surface. When you step outside, you will see Dr. Straub’s giant zeppelin, which will now start shooting lightning bolts at you. Keep an eye on the zeppelin until orange lights on the underside of the zeppelin come on. Shoot the lamps to detach the overbuckles. These will land in various places on the map. Run to the batteries and fill them with souls in the usual way once again.
When the battery is filled, you have to pick it up and carry it to the left hand of God. Repeat this game three times. Our tip: In co-op mode, this task is much easier to complete, as you can concentrate entirely on carrying it and don’t have to deal with the annoying enemies Don’t be surprised if one of the overbuckles gets pulled back to the zeppelin. Just shoot it down again.
A cutscene shows you the boss of the zombie mode: Dr. Straub has turned his assistant Klaus into a huge super zombie, which is now chasing you. Now you have to run away, because you can’t defeat him yet. Collect the head of the burner and look for the paintings, which are distributed on the map. One is in the house with the bullet damage machine, one in the command center, one in the blood room and the last painting in the room in front towards the command center.
Now shine the UV light of the burner head on the pictures and note the bird symbols as well as the Roman numerals on them. Symbols and numbers are randomly generated, just like the colors before. Now run to the left hand of God in the emperor’s chamber and turn the corresponding bird symbol to the right position. Once you’ve done that, you’ll have to activate the left hand of God in the same way. The zeppelin will appear again.
Now you have almost reached the end of your mission. Repeat the game with the overbuckles and fill them with souls again. Now lure the tank killer near the battery. Now you have to stun the boss, preferably with the Tesla gun. Once the giant is paralyzed, attach one of the batteries to his body. Repeat this several times and don’t be distracted by the fact that some buckles are pulled up again. If you manage to attach enough overbuckles to the tank killer, a cutscene will begin. The boss is pulled up to the zeppelin and Klaus remembers the last remnants of his humanity, whereupon he blows up the zeppelin and himself.
